Meet the new arrivals

In the last 10 days we have welcomed 12 new calves to Julians Farm.

They are both Heifers (girls) and Steers (boys) and are British Blue cross and Fleckvieh cross calves, out of dairy cows.  We buy them from our dairy friends who live just outside Bradworthy.

They are about 9-11 days old when we have them and we will rear them until they are 2 years old.

They have 3 litres of milk, morning and evening, for 12 weeks.  The milk powder we use is Glow, by Harpers Feeds and they love it!
