Andrew judges at the Dorset County Show

Andrew was invited to judge the British Blue Cattle at this years Dorset County Show.

We spent a wonderful weekend at the beginning of September up at the Dorset County Show in Dorchester.

Andrew was judging the British Blue Cattle enteries and was also part of the judging panel for the shows overall Supreme Show Championship.

The winning team were a local herd, The Stoneleigh Herd from Shebbear, headed up by Andrew Haste.

His bull, Ironman Cromwell, took Overall British Blue Champion, with his cow and calf, Stoneleigh Eleanor and Stoneleigh Kingsley, taking Reserve Champion.

Andrew spent some time inspecting each animal, looking for good locomotion, good muscle cover, good length and much more besides.
