Class 1 make bird feeders

What a wonderful morning we had with Class 1 of Bradworthy Primary Academy this morning.

We split into 3 groups and did 3 different sessions.

There was an Easter themed orienteering route with easter egg treats for the children on completion of the course; there was a nature walk with journey cards and wildlife spotting sheets and there was the getting mucky bit of making bird feeders.

Plastic cups and string make great bird feeders.  The children mixed some bird seed and bird peanuts with lard and filled their plastic cups up.  Watch out parents - you will need to find somewhere to hang them up in the garden !!
