Class 5 get Creative

15th of April saw Bradworthy Academy Class 5 visit Julians.

What an amazing morning.!

The Class were split into 2 groups, one headed my Mrs Turner and the other by Mr Sentance.

Mrs Turner took her group to visit the Spring and Waterfall, for the children to gain inspiration for some Creative Writing they have been doing in class.  Some of the words and phrases the children were suggesting were simply outstanding!

Mr Sentance took his group off on a Caterpillar Hunt.  Whilst walking through the fields, the children got a lesson on habitats and tree identification.  They were then introduced to the Culm Grassland and told of its importance and shown photos of the Marsh Fritillary Butterfly and its caterpillar.  Then the hunting began!  It only took a matter of a minute for the first caterpillar to be found.  Great hunting Class 5 !!
