A Flying Start to January 2015

Happy New year everyone from us all here at Julians farm.

 Well, its already been a busy few days.  We have a new loader coming this week for our John Deere tractor, so Andrew has had it in the workshop giving it a tidy up.  A T-cut and polish, new stickers and a paint job, making our John Deere sparkle again.  What a difference this loader will make to our life.  Photos will follow shortly!

The scrub clearance work on our Higher Level Stewardship Culm ground has begun in earnest.  The contractors have made a fantastic start, lets hope the weather remains kind to them so they can continue.  They are removing Willow and Hazel, to open up the area's of Culm for natural regeneration.  Once complete, the area will be fenced and we will be able to put cattle back in there again.  Something not done on this ground in about 70 years!!
