Last week for Care Farmers

This week has been the last week for both our group 2 of Holsworthy and Okehampton Colleges Care Farmers.

After a fantastic 5 weeks with both Holsworthy and Okehampton students, this week has been their last and we ended on a high - with a visit from Smallridges Mechanics.  Roy came on Wednesday and Matt joined us on Friday.

They came out with a massive 7310R John Deere tractor, the biggest tractor Smallridges have sold.  The students were shown how to keep the tractor in a safe, good working order and got to see all the latest technology.  One thing that has a big impact on some of the students has been both Roy and Matt telling the students how they joined Smallridges and that they both went through the apprenticeship route.
