Last Thursday saw Reception Class of Bradworthy Primary Academy come out for their first farm visit.
What a lovely morning we had lined up with the little ones.
We had several activities to do. These included replanting some Horse Chestnut trees into bigger pots; colouring in minibeast masks; making bird food and making feeders so the children could take it home with them; making little "Peter and Paul" bird finger puppets and lastly a nature detective walk to see what trees and wild flowers we could find.
The children were fantastic and well behaved. They took home what hadn't been finished and had a very enjoyable rest of the day completing their masks and puppets and bird feeders.
Well done reception, you were lovely !
