STEM Enterprise Day

16/6/2015 An Enterprise Day was help at Holsworthy Memorial Hall, with Holsworthy College, Great Torrington School and Bideford College.

Jenni, in her role as a STEM Ambassador, joined the above 3 Colleges and some of their Year 8 students for an Enterprise day run by EBP-UK .  It was a fantastic day.  The students were split into groups of 5 per table and we all given the task of creating their own Sustainable Village.  They were given worksheets with all the information on, costing sheets, amenities, etc and had to organise themselves into different management roles to complete the task.  They had the assistance of 6 Experts throughout the day.  At the end of the day, they had to have completed all the tasks and present to their Experts their Village.  Marks were awarded for different categories and winning teams were selected.  Congratulations to all those who took part and the winning teams.  It was a great day.
