Its that time of year again, when Class 5 of Bradworthy Primary Academy come out for their Survival day.
And what an amazing day it was too, despite the weather !
Roli Jones of Bear Track Survival and his mate Pete, came out to teach 30 students some survival and bushcraft skills. They made feather sticks with Pete, had a fire lesson with Roli, then looked out how to purify water and survival food, including locust and a meal worm omelette.
Some of the girls were quick to take part, in front of the boys, especially when it came to eating things !
They all did really well making their feather sticks and listened well to instructions, which is vital.
