Testimony

This is a testimony sent me me from the mum of one of our Care Farming students.

Julians farm educational access has been a god send. My 14 year old son has had the opportunity to go there. He was shy, nervous and had no confidence in himself. Didn't believe he could be anything. After coming here one day a week, and been given jobs to do and some responsibility, my son is a different child. He suffers with dyslexia. They had a visit from smallridges and my son had the opportunity to talk to them and realised that the person was dyslexic too. He had now arranged to do work experience with smallridges next year. Jenny and Andrew have been great with Brendan. They have been patient with him. When they went away they believed in Brendan to help do the daily chores, which made him smile so much. Brendan has now had the chance to help mentor some primary school children. I have had the pleasure to see my son doing the chores and showing his brothers and myself what he does and I was a very proud mum. He has struggled for a while but since being placed at Julian's farm, my son believes he can be whoever he wants to be. I can't thank Jenny and Andrew enough for the hard work and dedication they put into it.
