The Importance of Bee's

Class 6 of Bradworthy Academy came out to Julians again this morning to learn all about the Importance of Bee's.

Chris Smith from Chilsworthy plays a major part in the Devon Beekeepers Association and very kindly came over this morning to show Class 6 his Virtual Bee Hive.  He gave a fascinating talk on bee's, which on Friday Class 6 will have a quiz on, just to make sure they were listening!!

One very lucky young lady got to play Bee Keeper by wearing the special Bee Keeper suit and re-enacted what to do when you want to examine a hive.

To end with, Chris had brought out a fresh loaf of bread and a jar of his own Bee's honey and the children got to have tasters!

Its the best honey you will ever taste!!
